Oddsox Tournament for 2006

This year, 2006, the Oddsox are planning on attending three tournaments away from Oxford.

These are:

Cotswold mini-tournament in Stroud, Gloucestershire on Sunday 28 May
BA Invitational in Feltham (near the M4/M25) on 24-25 June - view report
Bristol Recreational on 19-20 August
Vampire Batters Really Scary Tournament on Sunday 10th September
Cotswold mini-tournament in Stroud, Gloucestershire on Sunday 8 October

Scott and Norm are also considering seeing if we can get a team together for the Edinburgh Festiball on the August bank holiday weekend (27-28 August). There should also be a one-day Oxford tournament (or cup day) in July - to be arranged).

Costs
The Cotswold tournament is £6-8 (depending on how many teams turn up on the day). Please be prepared to pay an extra pound or two. The other tournaments are £16 each.

People - who do we need?
We are completely full for Bristol Rec. We could do with one or two more guys for the Cotswold tournament and one or two (possibly) of either sex for the BA tournament.

Camping etc. and more information
Cotswold is one day (so driving there and back). Directions will be emailed to you.

The BA Tournament has a really nice camp site a short drive away. It is commutable from Oxford (just about), but it would be nice for some of us to stay over. There is also a disco there this year (at the club) and so we'd have to sort out the logistics of getting to the camp site afterwards if we wanted to go to that. We need to decide about the disco as they want to issue tickets. So, you need to decide, do you want to camp and do you want to go to the disco?!?

We're all camping at Bristol. Compulsory. Yer mad if you don't.

Let your team mates know if you need to share a tent or cooking stuff etc.

If you're thinking of going to Edinburgh, we're not sure how the accommodation arrangements will work out at the moment!
